How much does Full Body Laser Hair Removal cost?
Is Full Body Laser Hair Removal permanent?
Laser Hair Removal is a short term commitment to get long term results. Compared to other traditional hair removal methods, Full Body Laser Hair Removal can get rid of your unwanted hair for good! The results do not happen instantaneously, yet once your course of treatments is complete you will see significant, if not permanent, reductions in unwanted body hair. Committing shortly to Laser Hair Removal means you will never have to a worry about regular hair removal again.
What results can I expect from Full Body Laser Hair removal?
By using the most advanced laser technology and devices – Diode, Alexandrite and Nd:YAG – we modify the treatment depending on what would work best for your skin type. Each device works by destroying the hair follicles in the skin using light energy. The intense pulsed light beams target the root of the hair cells and damages the environment they grow in, delaying further hair regrowth. Once the hair follicles are completely destroyed, no hair can regrow, which is why it is sometimes necessary to have multiple sessions to achieve permanent results.
- Once it’s gone, it’s gone! No in-grown hairs, itchy stubble or painful razor rash
- Saves you money in the long run compared to the cost of temporary, traditional methods – like random waxing sessions or razor purchases
- Save your shave time: on average, it takes 6 hours of Laser Hair Removal to keep legs smooth vs 178 days of shaving

Pre-treatment advice for Laser Hair Removal
For the best results, you must avoid waxing, threading, tweezing or bleaching any of your unwanted hair before your treatment. This is because the laser can only target the hairs that are naturally present in the follicle and the darker the hair, the better, as the laser cannot detect light hairs that have no pigment. You can shave in between treatments, but remember your treated hair will start to fall out of its own accord 1-2 weeks after your first treatment.
We cannot treat skin anyone with a tan – natural or fake, as sun exposure will cause your skin to be more sensitive to the light energy used during the treatment. If your skin has been exposed to the sun within a month before your session, let your practitioner known prior to your treatment, as this could create some side effects. If you are tanned, please contact your clinic two days before your next appointment to seek advice on how to proceed.
One to two weeks before each treatment, you must stop using any acid based products such as Retinol, Glycolic and Salicylic as this can cause reactions during the session.
If you have been prescribed or are taking any new medications or herbal supplements, or if anything medically changes, let your practitioner know prior to your treatment.
Laser Hair Removal Aftercare
After the treatment, avoid using any perfumed products such as lotions, shower gels, deodorants, and fake tan for at least two days whilst the skin heals. You can use mineral-based makeup immediately if you wish to cover any redness and this will be available at the clinic. You must also avoid using products with actives, Retinol and exfoliating beads for a least one week until the skin has fully healed. This will help reduce any probability of experiencing any side effects.
We recommend using Australian Bodycare Tea Tree lotion, deodorant and skin wash to minimise any side effect, like irritation and to calm redness. For any facial treatments, we recommend using YoungBlood Mineral Cosmetics make-up and a physical broad-spectrum SPF like Dermaquest Zinclear which is a tinted moisturiser and BB cream.
Q: Can I have Laser Hair Removal if I’m breastfeeding?
A: Yes you can, although we do not advise treatment on the areola area, but everywhere else is perfectly safe to treat.
Q: Can I have Laser Hair Removal if I have keloid scars?
A: If you have keloid scars, or a predisposition to keloid scarring, we would assess the areas to be treated on a case by case basis. As keloid scars are a type of scar that extend beyond the original area of skin damage. As they can be a raised pink, red, skin-coloured scar, that is usually darker than the surrounding skin, we would first need to see how far it extends to make sure there is no potential risk of creating any further skin damage.
Q: Is there any recovery time needed after Laser Hair Removal treatments?
A: We only recommend that you do not exposure the area to the sun, go to the gym – or use its facilities like the steam room, etc – for up to 24 – 48 hours. Apart from some reddening of the skin, you shouldn’t need any recovery time.
Q: How do I know if I’m suitable for Laser Hair Removal?
A: By only using high quality devices, we can ensure that our equipment is safe to use on all skin types and tones. For people with lighter hair we would usually recommend Electrolysis, as it can target finer hairs than traditional Laser Hair Removal.
Q: Does Laser Hair Removal hurt?
A: All of our laser devices use cooling technology to keep discomfort to a minimum. After treatment we also apply cooling gels and, if necessary, can apply a local anaesthetic to the area if you have a low pain threshold. You will get an idea of what the intense pulsed light feels like during the initial patch test. Compared to traditional hair removal methods like waxing, Laser Hair Removal is often described as less painful.
Q: Can I have Laser Hair Removal after receiving treatment for cancer?
A: If you were last treated for cancer 1-3 years ago you may be suitable for Laser Hair Removal. We would require a letter from your specialist to pass onto our Medical Director to review before undergoing any further consultations. If you have had any lymph nodes removed from under your arms or breasts you unfortunately cannot have any Laser Hair Removal, even if you have received the all clear as it is too risky and the side effects uncertain.
Q: How is Laser Hair Removal different from other hair removal treatments?
A: Laser Hair Removal is different from other hair removal methods because it has long term results. It is a safe and innovative way to remove body hair and means you won’t have to think about regular hair removal again! It is perfect for permanently reducing ingrown hairs and giving you a silky smooth bikini line, all year round!
What our clients say
I suffer with polycystic ovaries, and excess hair has always been a constant battle. I had my first treatment of laser 5 years ago, and I have now had treatments to the whole of my body. I have achieved a 95% reduction and now return for maintenance sessions every 6 months or so to keep my hairs at bay. I’m so glad I found this treatment, and was able to throw away my razors!
