EDS Revitalise is the ultimate microneedling treatment that gives your complexion the boost it’s been looking for. Our EDS treatment, meaning ‘Electro DermaStamp®’, uses a genuine DermaRoller® device to reverse the signs of ageing, accelerate collagen production and restore a refreshed, glowing vitality back into your appearance. The brand DermaRoller® are the pioneers of modern skin care concepts and we are exclusively using their revolutionary technology to produce transformations in our clients. We never compromise when it comes to getting beautiful skin!

What is EDS Revitalise and how does it work?

EDS Revitalise is a type of microneedling treatment that focuses on visible skin rejuvenation. It is different from other microneedling treatments as it works using an electronic DermaStamp® device which is unparalleled in its speed, precision and recognised for the state-of-the-art technology it employs. The DermaStamp® uses 0.3mm cone-shaped needles that are attached to a rounded, flat nib encased in silicone. This ensures single-use sterility and that it seamlessly glides over the skin, rather than drag or pull at the epidermis – which older microneedling devices use to. This treatment also emits a hyaluronic acid solution whilst the microneedling takes place, which penetrates deeply into the skin and works wonders to produce a plump, hydrated and youthful look. The name DermaStamp® is inspired by the movement of the device, which has an automatic springing, up-and-down motion similar to a manual stamp. It’s electrical function ensures the pressure is consistent across the whole treatment area and that the tiny holes produced are completely atraumatic and minimally uncomfortable.

Pre-treatment advice and aftercare

Before having your first session, you’ll first have a consultation with one of our experienced clinicians. This is an expert-led conversation that will inform and excite you about starting your skin journey with us. Once your practitioner has examined your skin, and you are very happy with your chosen treatment, they will create for you a bespoke treatment plan – which will have your skin needs and expectations at the centre of it.

Although your practitioner will outline all the do’s and don’ts to prepare you for your upcoming treatment before, here are some of them below:

When preparing for a microneedling appointment, we always suggest that in the week beforehand you give your skin a break from anything that may irritate it or not promote its strongest skin health. As microneedling involves creating some epidermal impact, over-exfoliation is not recommended and using strong active skincare products – anything over 1% – should be avoided.

After the session, you should follow the same protocols mentioned above for at least a few days, longer is better, but a few days should suffice and be adequate enough time to let your skin recover and desensitize.

Your practitioner will recommend some amazing products that will accelerate the healing process, stimulate collagen production, enhance your results and protect your skin – so you can reap the full benefits of your recent treatment at home too!

The final piece of advice is to simply adore your younger, radiant complexion! Enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions

EDS Revitalise is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to get glowing, renewed skin. One of the biggest benefits of this treatment is that it works to regenerate the skin cells and accelerate collagen production by activating the skin’s natural healing response.

Collagen plays a large role in skin repair and is also a fundamental anti-ageing compound that supports the skin and is responsible for maintaining dermal resilience and elasticity. Throughout the years, collagen levels naturally diminish, or the death of collagen proteins is accelerated by intrinsic and extrinsic factors like genetics, smoking and UV exposure.

EDS Revitalise works to reverse the biological clock and replenish lost collagen levels through atraumatic epidermal disruption, so as the micro-needles gently puncture the epidermis, the healing response is triggered and a surge of collagen is produced in the weeks following. This is an amazing way to reduce deep creases and fine lines naturally as this treatment simply harnesses your body’s own anti-ageing power.

After each session, or your course completion, you’ll notice your skin becoming firmer and tighter, brighter and even – with pigmentation spots being significantly reduced too! EDS always aims to leave you with unblemished, soft skin that glows thanks to its innovative technology.

Another benefit of EDS is that your skincare products will be more effective! Due to the small puncture holes in the epidermis, the ingredients will be able to penetrate deeper into the skin and make more of an impact at a dermal level.

On the day of the treatment, you can expect your practitioner to cleanse and clean your face before brushing a numbing cream across the desired treatment area.

They will then begin the microneedling and this can take around 15-45 minutes, depending on whether you want to target the whole face or just a part of it.

Your practitioner will start the treatment by manually controlling the DermaStamp® and administer the microneedling in small circles. The needles will begin to stimulate collagen production immediately whilst simultaneously removing any dead skin and debris that inhibits your skin’s natural brightness. The repetition rate of the needle, which is usually at 150 strokes per second, can be adjusted to diminish your skin concern more effectively. For more complex concerns, like deeper-set wrinkles or pigmentation marks, it can work faster and penetrate further into the skin for a more enhanced, prominent result. This may mean your skin is more red than usual, but this should subside dramatically within the hours after the treatment.

Once the treatment is complete, they will remove any residue and apply a soothing, hydrating collagen mask to help elevate the results and replenish your skin.

Afterwards, you can expect your skin to be a little red and some of our clients describe the aftereffect as looking like sunburn. Mineral makeup can be applied by us upon request to help cover any redness but usually this will go down on its own!

Our clients are always surprised at how little discomfort there is during our microneedling treatments and misconceptions often mean they expect something much worse.

Thanks to amazing advancements in technology, equipment and practice, we are confident in delivering microneedling treatments that are completely tolerable and only minimally uncomfortable.

We not only apply a numbing cream before the treatment, but also, our DermaStamp® devices are fitted with minimally invasive cone-shape needles. The cone-shaped needles encourage the seamless administration of the treatment, where the micro-puncturing that occurs heals within minutes and does not cause any lasting damage, scrape or cut against the epidermis (like older, knife-shaped microneedles were more inclined to do). This makes our treatment one of the most effective and comfortable microneedling treatments available, that combines optimal needle count, pressure and safety for the best results.

This will be formally declared in your consultation as this can only be judged once your skin has been examined by one of our practitioners. We usually recommend at least a course of 3, but tangible improvements can be seen, and felt, in the skin’s softness and texture after just one treatment. Single treatments start at £129, or a course of 3 treatments costs £229.

The collagen stimulating effects of microneedling are temporary and can usually last around 8-12 weeks before a top up treatment is necessary to maintain the results. You can usually begin to see noticeable results in the 4-6 weeks following the treatment, so some patience is required to reap the full benefits of EDS Revitalise.
