Directions by train
Guildford train station is located in the town centre (a 3 minute walk from the friary centre). Leaving the station via the main exit you need to take a right, and walk until you come across a traffic light pedestrian crossing on Walnut Tree Close. Cross over turning right to follow the path round onto Bridge Street (past Tesco Express), until you come to the Friary Centre pedestrian crossing. Cross over and turn right onto Onslow Street and follow the path round to the left onto North Street (the high street). Cross over the road so you are on the right hand side. Walk up road passing Marks and Spencer’s on your right, carry on walking up and you will arrive at House of Fraser store (on your right).
Directions by bus
When you get off the bus walk back up the bus station from the direction you entered the bus stop, cross over the road until you reach the White Lion Walk. Before you enter the centre make a left and walk up the high street passing Marks and Spencer’s on your right continue up the high street until you reach House Of Fraser (on your right).
Directions by car
Coming down the A3 from London –
Take the A25 exit (the exit after Burpham/Merrow) towards Guildford. Get into one of the 2 left lanes and turn left onto Woking road (straight ahead at the main crossroads). Carry on going straight ahead over 2 roundabouts and 2 sets of traffic lights and you will reach the main town centre. You will find directions to the town centre car parks on signs coming into Guildford.
Coming up the A3 from Portsmouth –
Take the A25/A322 exit towards Dorking/Bagshot/Guildford. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Middleton road/A25. Stay in the right lane and you will reach a big cross road, from there you turn right onto Woodbridge road and carry on straight ahead, straight over the first round about (second exit) and carry on until you come to a big roundabout which leads into the town centre. There are directions to town centre car parks as you come into the town centre.
