21/07/2021 – COVID-19 UPDATE
Your safety is our number one priority
At DestinationSkin, we always have and always will put the health and safety of our clients and employees first. Following the changes in Government advice earlier this week, we therefore wanted to share an update on what this means for you when visiting us in clinic from 19th July in England.
Whilst the lifting of restrictions is certainly a positive step back towards normality, we would encourage customers to continue to wear face coverings during clinic visits and treatments where possible, to help ensure everyones’ safety. We recommend doing so as you may come into close contact with people you do not normally come into contact with during your visit.
It is vital that we maintain the safest conditions possible for our clients and teams, and we recognise that this next stage in the Covid-19 roadmap is not without risk. Therefore, we will be following Public Health England’s guidance, which means our clinic teams will continue to wear PPE and follow our Business Covid-19 safety risk assessment.

The gloves are on, as always
Your safety, and that of our team is always our top priority, and we have been working hard to ensure that your experience in our clinics will be a comfortable, enjoyable but most importantly, safe one.
The relaxing of social distancing measures will allow us to reopen our reception seating area, so we can once again welcome you into clinic without the need for social distancing.
It is key to note that while legal restrictions lifting may be a welcome relief for some, for others it can feel quite daunting. Therefore, to ensure all of our customers and staff feel safe and comfortable, we will continue to wear PPE and masks whilst in clinic and would ask all our customers to respectfully do the same.
In addition to this, the following protocols will remain in place for your safety & peace of mind:
- Hand Hygiene: We are continuing to implement strict hand hygiene for all employees and clients.
- PPE: Our employees will all be fitted with the appropriate PPE and while it is no longer a legal requirement, we’ll be encouraging visitors to the clinic to wear a face covering if they are happy to do so.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Thorough cleaning schedules remain in place using high grade disinfectant between each appointment.
- Track and Trace: Please download the NHS Track and Trace app ahead of your visit to our clinics.

The DestinationSkin Safety Charter
At DestinationSkin, we want you to feel reassured that we’ll help you achieve your skin goals in the safest and most hygienic conditions possible so are proud to introduce our new safety charter across all clinics.
You will need to have an appointment to be able to come into our clinics. We ask that you attend alone wherever possible and limit the number of personal items you bring. Please don’t wear jewellery and if you are having a facial treatment, then please come with a make-up free face.
We’re allowing more time between appointments and more space in clinics where possible to enable 2 metre distancing, whilst reducing the number of people in clinic at any time. Please arrive on time to help us keep these measures working effectively.
To help keep you safe, you can be reassured that we are enforcing strict hand hygiene for all employees and clients. We will ask you to wash your hands on arrival and before you leave, and all clinics will have hand sanitising dispensers for client use.
Each clinic has been assessed for shielding requirements and some may have a glass screen between you and our receptionist. As part of your arrival, we will ask you a few health screening questions and take a non-contact temperature check. All payments should be made using contactless card payments.
Our employees will all be fitted with the appropriate PPE and while it is no longer a legal requirement, we’ll be encouraging visitors to the clinic to wear a face covering if they are happy to do so.
We use the highest grade of disinfectant and are introducing more frequent and thorough cleaning in our clinics, with extra time built in between each appointment to make sure our treatment rooms are squeaky clean before the next client arrives.
Our amazing teams are undergoing training to ensure they follow strict safety protocols and processes when delivering treatments.

We are also introducing a regular infection control audit to ensure our clinics are COVID-19 secure.
