Nurse Saria Tahir is an aesthetic nurse and independent prescriber with 17 years’ experience in the industry.  Saria started out using class 4 medical lasers then moved onto injectables ranging from Botox, Fillers, sclerotherapy. PEP and Micro needling. Saria trained at Airdale Hospital, and furthered her skills at Edgehill University. He is a member of POAPA, NMC and RCN.

Saria has worked freelance for a number of Northwest clinics, and is trained to advise on cosmeceuticals such as Skin Ceuticals, Mediks, Environ and Aestheticare. She previously worked as a Manager for a Rapid Response unit for a number of years before entering world of aesthetics.

Based in our Manchester clinic, Saria’s specialist treatment is anti-ageing injections, and she has a very steady hand!

Q&A with Saria Tahir

Q: What are you interests?
A:  Acne Patients are a challenging group of people, as an acne sufferer myself I find helping improve skin that has been effected by acne really interesting to treat. Whether its active lesions or scarring.

Q: What is your favourite treatment and why?
A:  Sclerotherapy. Its so satisfying treatment to undertake – watching the blood leave the vessels whilst injecting the scelero solution. Patient’s reaction to this is priceless!

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A:  Building relationships with patients. Seeing them at the beginning of their journey to the final result. I love to see changes in their demeanour and their confidence and their outlook on life. Fantastic!!

Q: What advice you would give to someone considering injectable treatments?
A: Do your research. Speak to other patients who have had some treatment. Look at negatives alongside positives. Go to a reputable practitioner.
