Dr Anamica Prasad qualified as a Medical Doctor in 1999 in the UK and started NHS Dermatology in 2003 after gaining her Diploma in Dermatology. She is very skilled at managing Melasma, Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis as well as other Skin Dermatoses and lesions.
Soon after this, she started using Lasers in NHS Dermatology for the treatment of Acne Keloids, Facial Acne Rosacea and Hirsutism with the ND Yag laser and Vaniqa.
Within the NHS, Dr Prasad treats patients with prescription topical retinoids and hydroquionine and, since 2012, has been using a range of Medical Grade Cosmeceuticals to match these prescription products. She now offers a detailed and lengthy holistic assessment of her clients, combining these with Anti-Wrinkle treatments, Dermal Fillers , Chemical Peels, Lasers and Skin Tightening devices.
She is a Member of the British Medical Laser Association and Primary Care Dermatology Society and is an avid promoter of Skin Awareness and Scarring. Her particular interest lies in the treatment of Hyper-pigmentation, Sun damage, Melasma, Scarring, Acne and Hair loss. She is highly skilled in creating a naturally enhanced look with Anti-wrinkle treatments and Dermal Fillers.
Dr Prasad’s real passion lies in Corrective and Restorative Medical Dermatology and Evidence based Aesthetic Medicine pooling together her vast experience in NHS and Private Dermatology.
She is delighted to be a Faculty Member of ZO Skin Health and is UK Trainer for ZO Skin Health for Wigmore Medical having trained delegates in Glasgow, Dublin and of course UK.
