Rosacea / Redness

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a form of redness of the skin, found across the face from cheek to cheek, nose and forehead.  Rosacea is commonly caused by sun damage encouraging small blood vessels to appear on the surface of the skin.

DestinationSkin can offer rosacea/redness sufferers a number of different treatments to suit their skin types, and to help address those concerns.

Free consultation

We offer a free skin consultation for every client prior to any treatments. You will be seen by one of our expert practitioners who have been trained in laser, skin and body treatments.   Skin consultations are conducted in complete confidence and practitioners are able to answer any questions or concerns you may have.  During the consultation, a detailed assessment will be carried out  (along with a patch test where required) and a personal skincare programme will be devised to suit requirements.  The consultation will take approximately 30 minutes.

Laser/IPL skin rejuvenation

Laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is used to target imperfections in the skin from hyperpigmentation to acne. IPL helps to promote collagen production, healing and aid hydration.
Prescription facials

We offer a wide range of prescription facials tailored to your skins needs using active ingredients to improve texture, hydration and appearance.

Skin Peels

Improve the texture and smoothness of your skin using highly effective skin peels, tailored to your specific requirements on a level that suits you, from mild to more advanced. By removing dull, dead cells from the skin surface, open pores, blemishes and fine lines are all immediately reduced.

Our skin peels use highly active ingredients to achieve lasting results such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHAs).  These help to rehydrate the skin and calm the inflammation.

Omnilux light

When skin is exposed to Omnilux™ Light Therapy, at 633 nanometers (nm), several cellular mechanisms take place:

  1. light stimulates cells responsible for tissue repair
  2. light stimulates cells that produce collagen and elastin for long term results
  3. light is absorbed in the mitochondria, increasing cell vitality and permeability allowing for active ingredients to penetrate deeply and activate quickly

Omnilux™ Light Therapy can be used in combination with existing therapies (eg.microdermabrasion, fillers, facial peels, laser and IPL) to further enhance treatment results

Microneedle Therapy/Dermaroller

A treatment using fine gauge needles on a roller are passed over the skin to cause a controlled inflammatory response. The skin heals by triggering collagen production to restore and remodel at an accelerated rate. This is a natural process relying on the skins own ability to repair and restore, resulting in younger, fresher, tighter skin within 2 to 4 weeks.

Ideal for stretchmarks, scars, wrinkles and general skin rejuvenation for use on the face, body, décolletage and hands. Recommended in courses of 3 to 5 treatments, 6 to 8 weeks apart, may be repeated throughout the year. Immediately after treatment skin may appear red and tight which reduces within 2 hours.

Microdermabrasion

Get smooth, soft skin with microdermabraison. This popular treatment offers deep exfoliation, lifting dull and dead cells, visibly revitalising your complexion and preparing your skin for more advanced treatments, whilst delivering instant radiance.
